Music enthusiasts since their youth, the trio that comprises American Pride did what comes naturally when they are inspired - they wrote a song. This time the inspiration came from witnessing and experiencing the recurring theme of the pride of military family and friends. Parents proud of sons and daughters away from home serving their country, praying for their safe return. Wives, husbands, children ... every one of them proud of a service member. Witnessing American pride would have been enough inspiration, but experiencing the loss of a loved one seared the word proud in their hearts and minds. He was a young soldier set to deploy to Iraq, who instead made the ultimate sacrifice in a training accident at Ft. Hood, Texas. In his memory, they wanted to do something inspiring and uplifting for the troops. What better way than to let them know they are appreciated?

American Pride desires for this song to make it to all the Troops that are away from their loved ones, and help someone through a rough day. They want them to know that we appreciate all they do. We are all proud of them and We'll Keep Our Yellow Ribbons Close 'Til they come home.
